PRACTITIONER
Practitioners will have opportunities to assist with suspensions throughout the Suscon. They will do tasks such as cleaning, marking, piercing, rigging, bio, belay and post.
There is no minimum experience required — just a desire to learn and the willingness to participate actively.
Practitioner badges will clearly indicate skill level, so we know how to support your learning.
NON-PRACTITIONER
This option is ideal for attendees who prefer to observe, learn in a non-hands-on capacity, take classes, participate in discussions, and enjoy the event without feeling the need to assist with technical or support tasks.

DISCLAIMER
Body suspension is an inherently dangerous activity that requires a great deal of knowledge, skill, and experience to facilitate safely.
Attending an educational event like the Ontario Suscon is awesome — we are stoked that you plan to be a part of this event; however, attendance does not qualify individuals to begin facilitating suspensions without the ongoing support and supervision of more experienced practitioners.
Events like the Ontario Suscon are a great opportunity to connect with other practitioners and groups of practitioners who may be actively hosting events and facilitating suspensions closer to where you live.
If there are no groups near where you live, you’re more than welcome to connect with the Ontario Suspension Collective and continue to attend our events regularly. Send us an email at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com any time and we’ll get back to you ASAP!
Attend Suspension Events wherever and whenever possible and join forums dedicated to learning and the ongoing development of best practices, such as the Body Suspension Education Hub on Facebook.
