IF YOU’RE SUSPENDING

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: To ensure the best experience, please stay hydrated, well-nourished, and rested before your suspension. Feeling hungry, tired, or run down can negatively impact your experience.

ENHANCING YOUR EXPERIENCE:
We encourage you to bring music with you for your suspension — we find it can help amplify the experience. We have access to a fairly loud speaker that you can connect to with your phone.  We also encourage you to bring a support person with you; having someone you trust with you can help reduce anxiety that you might have before suspending.

We ask that you arrive at least 30 - 45 minutes before your scheduled time so we can start promptly and we ask for some flexibility, as the schedule throughout the day is subject to some slight changes.

WHAT TO EXPECT: After you pay your deposit you will receive an email that confirms the details of your suspension — the type of suspension, the time of your suspension and details about the venue. Each suspension is scheduled for 1.5 hours. We have limited time in the studio so we must adhere to this schedule.

PLEASE NOTE: If you're planning to do a suspension with 10 + hooks and more intricate rigging please include the details of that in the Additional Comments section at the bottom of the Registration form. We may need to adjust the schedule or we may need to suggest other arrangements such as a private suspension.

THIS IS A PUBLIC EVENT
OSC members and other suspendees will be present throughout the day. We will be hosting Open Hours from 4 PM - 7:30 PM at this event. During this time a small group of no more than 10 people who are interested in seeing suspension first hand may be in attendance. If you do not feel comfortable suspending during the Open Hours please select a time earlier in the day before 4 PM.

If you would prefer to do a private suspension, we can provide you with that experience; however, it would not happen during this event, it would happen at a later date. Please email us at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com to inquire about private suspension experiences.

Once we have received your completed registration form we will review it and send you an invoice.

SPACE IS LIMITED
There are limited spots available at this event, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. If you need more information before making a decision please, don't hesitate to reach out to the OSC directly at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com to arrange a Consultation Call.

HOOKS & SHACKLES

Hooks and shackles will be provided for your suspension.

The hooks we provide have been used before and processed and sterilized by members of the OSC who are trained and certified in the Sterilization Cycle for Body Piercing. If you have concerns about using shared equipment or would prefer to bring your own sterile hooks, please email us in advance.

If you intend to use your own hooks, we ask you to ensure that they are properly packaged and processed and that the sterile packaging has not been compromised. For information on travelling with hooks and suggestions on preventing packaged hooks from being compromised, please email us at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com.

Please contact us at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com for more information about our hook reprocessing and sterilization services if you would like to use your own hooks and need to have them cleaned, processed and sterilized prior to the event. Please make arrangements for hook reprocessing and sterilization with us at least 10 days before the event.

We DO NOT have hooks available for purchase at this time.

CONSULTATION CALLS
We are offering consultation calls to everyone who registers for an OSC event and to anyone interested in suspending with us. After registering, you'll receive a follow-up confirmation email with more information on scheduling a consultation. If you're thinking about suspending with us but would like to have a consultation with us first, please send us an email to ontario.suspensions@gmail.com, and we'll schedule a call with you as soon as possible.

2026 ONTARIO SUSCON

DATES: Friday, April 3rd – Monday, April 6th, 2026
VENUE: The Playground Studio, 388 Carlaw Ave unit 205, Toronto

We are excited to invite you to the 2026 Ontario Suscon in Toronto, Ontario, from April 3rd - April 6th, 2026

This unique four-day event brings together body suspension practitioners and suspension enthusiasts from across the globe to learn from one another, collaborate, and explore body suspension in a safe and supportive environment.

Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the suspension community, this event offers a transformative experience with workshops led by some of the most experienced practitioners in our community and experts outside of our community.

In addition to workshops, there will be plenty of time on the suspension floor to learn in a hands-on, collaborative way. This safe and supportive environment allows us to learn from one another and work together. This year we are providing more hands-on learning opportunities, dedicating time, space and practitioners to run demos on cleaning, marking, piercing, rigging, belay, bio and post. We are also going to be doing product demos on supplies and equipment for facilitating suspensions.

Please visit the 2026 Ontario Suscon webpage and click the link to register and secure your spot at the 2026 Ontario Suscon!
