We’re starting 2026 with a weekend-long suspension event co-hosted by the Ontario Suspension Collective and BME!
Yep! BME will be onsite to document and archive the weekend! At the Suscon earlier this year, we had the opportunity to dream up big ideas with the BME crew about ways the OSC and BME could collaborate, and we're pumped that 8 months later, we're doing just that!
We’re also really excited to be back in Toronto. It’s been over a year and a half since we hosted a suspension event in Toronto, but we’ve finally found a place to call home at OBJX Studio! OBJX will be an epic space to work out of — 20’ vertical clearance from floor to beams, floor to ceiling windows — so tons of natural light — and all the room we could ever need to bring your suspension to life!
This gathering also marks a shift for us: the OSC is moving toward more two-day events as demand continues to grow and the community keeps showing up.
The suspension community and the enthusiasm surrounding it continue to grow in Southern Ontario, and we’re here for it!

SUSPENDING AT THE SNOW & STEEL: WINTER SUSPENSION GATHERING
Thank you for registering for to suspend at the OSC Winter Suspension Gathering!
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: To ensure the best experience, please stay hydrated, well-nourished, and rested before your suspension. Feeling hungry, tired, or run down can negatively impact your experience.
ENHANCING YOUR EXPERIENCE: We encourage you to bring music with you for your suspension — we find it can help amplify the experience. We have access to a fairly loud speaker that you can connect to with your phone. We also encourage you to bring a support person with you; having someone you trust with you can help reduce anxiety that you might have before suspending.
We ask that you arrive at least 30 - 45 minutes before your scheduled time so we can start promptly, and we ask for some flexibility, as the schedule throughout the day is subject to some slight changes. -
After you pay your deposit, you will receive an email that confirms the details of your suspension — the type of suspension, the time of your suspension and details about the venue. Each suspension is scheduled for around 1.5 hours.
We have limited time in the studio, so we sometimes must adhere to this schedule. -
If you're planning to do a suspension with 10 + hooks and more intricate rigging, please include the details of that in the Additional Comments section at the bottom of the Registration form. We may need to adjust the schedule, or we may need to suggest other arrangements, such as a private suspension.

THIS IS A PUBLIC EVENT
OSC members and other suspendees will be present throughout the day. We will be hosting Open Hours at this event. This means there may be people who are interested in seeing suspension first-hand in attendance.
If you do not feel comfortable suspending during this time, please select a time earlier in the day, before 3 PM.
If you would prefer a private suspension, we can provide that experience; however, it would not happen during this event. It would happen at a later date. Please email us at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com to inquire about private suspension experiences. -
EVENT REGISTRATION & PAYMENT DETAILS
Once we have received your completed registration form, we will review it and send you an invoice.
COST: The cost to suspend at the SNOW & STEEL Winter Suspension Gathering is $230 (CAD).
Payment in full or a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost of your suspension ($115) must be received by no later than December 31st to secure your spot.
The remaining balance ($115) is due by January 7th, 2026.
*Registration for our Suspension Gatherings are non-refundable.*
Payment Methods:
Our preferred method of payment is via Interac E-transfer to ontario.suspensions@gmail.com. If sending an e-transfer, please include a message stating the event name and the invoice number.
If you are unable to pay via e-transfer, we can make other arrangements. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss alternative payment arrangements. Please note that there is a $10 processing fee for payments made via PayPal or credit card.

HOOKS & SHACKLES
Hooks and shackles will be provided for your suspension.
The hooks we provide have been used before and processed and sterilized by members of the OSC who are trained and certified in the Sterilization Cycle for Body Piercing. If you have concerns about using shared equipment or would prefer to bring your own sterile hooks, please email us in advance.
If you intend to use your own hooks, please ensure they are properly packaged and processed and that the sterile packaging has not been compromised. For information on travelling with hooks and suggestions on how to prevent packaged hooks from being compromised, please email us at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com.
Please get in touch with us at ontario.suspensions@gmail.com for more information about our hook reprocessing and sterilization services if you would like to use your own hooks and need them cleaned, processed, and sterilized before the event. Please make arrangements with us for hook reprocessing and sterilization at least 10 days before the event.

We are offering consultation calls to everyone who registers for an OSC event and for anyone who is interested in suspending with us. After registering you'll receive a follow-up confirmation email that will provide you with more information about scheduling a consultation. If you're thinking about suspending with us but would like to have a consultation with us first, please send us an email to ontario.suspensions@gmail.com and we'll schedule a call with you as soon as possible. -
